What time can I arrive at my vacation home?
Guests can gain access to their vacation home after 4 pm on the day of arrival. Your keyless entry code will be activated at that time to allow access to the property. Please do not attempt to check in with your keyless code before that check in time, as it can cause issues with the keyless entry lock.
Is smoking allowed inside our outside of the property?
No. All properties with MI Vacation Getaway do not permit smoking of any kind inside or on the premises. This includes cigarettes, cigars, pipes, marijuana, and vaping. When renting any property with MI Vacation Getaway it is with the understanding that smoking is not permitted. If there are any signs of smoking inside the home, there will be a $500 fee charged to cover the extensive cost of restoring the home.
Can I use FIREWORKS or FIREARMS at my vacation home?
***NO firearms or fireworks are allowed on the premises.***
Can I bring my pet with me on MI Vacation Getaway?
*Dogs are welcome in dog-friendly homes with a pet deposit paid*
MI Vacation Getaway knows how special it is to bring your "best friend" or "fur baby" with you on vacation! We have specific "Dog Friendly" properties that are labeled as this on the page for the property under amenities. Properties allowing dogs have a limit of two domestic, house broken dogs with a weight limit of 50 pounds each, unless otherwise noted within the property's description. Please remember to bring your own doggy beach towels! Dogs in non-dog properties are strictly forbidden and will result in your eviction.
What are the departure procedures?
Remove all food from the refrigerator and leave the temperature setting at medium. Place all trash in exterior cans. Load and start the dishwasher. Close and lock all windows and doors. Set thermostat to 75 degrees for AC or 55 degrees for heat. At the very least, the first load of bath towels should be washed.
